Pros

Friendly people with very little politics compared to other places. Overall, people want to do the right thing. You will find pockets of people that do not like change, but you will find that anywhere.

Cons

There has not been a lot of strategic thinking in the past to make sure all projects and initiatives work toward a common enterprise goal but it is getting better.

Great Culture But Lacks Clarity In Roles and Responsibilities. The tech limitations can also be frustrating.

Pros

I love the Grange culture. Everyone’s nice. I’ve enjoyed working with most of the people at Grange. I also adore my current manager. She’s really caring and is doing her best to help bring clarity to the roles, responsibilities and processes in the team.

Cons

Grange Technology Services is always trying to cut corners to save on cost. What ends up happening is that we end up having subpar model environments, no proper build pipelines, no test execution during the build process and a ton of bad data that we have to work through each day to get new features released to production. Cutting costs upfront is probably adding a ton of costs in the backend so in the end they’re not achieving their goal of saving money; they might actually be spending more with the amount of time wasted because of bad environment and bad data.
