      Pros

      They really do care about doing the "right" thing, and believe that favorable monetary gains will fall into place if they do. Amongst the big civil construction companies, Granite treats their employees the best by a long shot.

      Cons

      The work can be painstaking, and the regulatory agencies involved with a majority of their contracts can be impossible to work for. Too much focus on process and procedures as opposed to morale, motivation and engagement

      Pros

      Granite use to be for the workers and there Families.when i came to Granite to work i was a labor when i let go i was a foreman of 10 years,because i was a straight shooter i was replaced by a 2 year foreman in my field.It use to be how hard you worked and got things done it is not that way now.If you are not in with the right crowd you are done when They are done using you. Granite USE to be the place to be the 90s were great ever the first part of 2000.

      Cons

      Management is a good old boy network, Carrier opportunities are giving to them that in with the boys not by management skill not there performance or contribution. I have seen good people passed by to allow others that cost the company in the end. Management is so hung up in them self they run over the workers
