      Granite has awesome employees. The employees work extremely hard and are very ethical. Granite is a grat place to work.

      -Provided a lot training to solidify your role within the company -Given a lot of opportunity to work on your own -Company truck -You are given a lot of responsibility over many areas of the business(engineer, safety, environmental obligations)

      Cons

      -Company vibe changed from "we care about you" to "what have you done for me lately" -A lot of lay offs, resulted in somewhat closing of the branch -Medical benefits are not that great.....in fact they are the worse I have ever experienced. I had a part time job, when I was attending college that had better benefits than this; and I was working part time

      bad communication all around with apparent ambivalence in day to day operations of specific departments. morale is relatively low.
