      Pros

      Flexible when it came to family and other obligations. Good vacation day and paid holidays. Solid company that keeps growing.

      Cons

      Broken promises on salary. Started low on wage scale so there was room for growth and after three years no follow through. Didn't even see a cost of living raise in two years and one year got 2%.

      Pros

      Very Organized and well prepared for programs. The best training program for young engineers I have ever seen in my career.

      Cons

      As a woman, it was difficult to work here. The office staff are very old-fashioned and HR policies promote a "just ignore her so you don't get in trouble" mentality.

      the people and our reputation with the public are what make Granite a great place

      Cons

      too many silos. as much as they try, no one in management seems willing to truly knock down the silo walls.
