Pros

Random, and occasionally, profitable bonuses throughout the year. Knowledgeable and frequently helpful facilities and help desk departments. A respectful CEO.

Cons

The COO and a few other "manager's" below him need true management and interpersonal skill training.

Pros

Free 24/7 gym with showers on site. Company has been growing steadily for the last decade while remaining debt free. Free spacious parking and located within a hundred feet of the North Quincy Red Line T-Stop. 90% of the workforce is below the age of 30 so the employees are fun, for the most part.

Cons

Pay is pretty lousy, I do not look at this as a career whatsoever. They do not care about retaining talent via proper compensation--hiring hundreds of temp-to-perm employees every year is pretty much their business plan to compensate for the high turnover. The hours are insanely rigid--you must show up at 8:00 and not a minute later, and everyone must take their unpaid lunch break from 12-1 everyday--pretty much high school all over again. The absolute worst part is the expectation to travel great lengths during dangerous weather--even if you are not essential. Mr. Hale seems to enjoy when his business is the only one that is open in Quincy during a blizzard or hurricane. My commute has taken up to 3 hours on one such occasion, and I was not paid for that time missed.

Pros

It's a brain teaser... I have 2 monitors...

Cons

-The owner walks around shirtless after using the company gym, best to eat after you come to work so you don't lose your breakfast! -COO walks around taking notes of people on their cell phones -HUGE turn over rate, my dept has been understaffed for about a year now, they can't get people to stay, temps realize they have walked through the gates of hell -The company will unblock sites during the holidays to catch people shopping which ends in a written or you getting fired -They try to partner with sites like these to take down the bad reviews which are the only real ones -If you're late you can't make it up, your pay gets docked -While other companies let you leave early the day before a holiday or when the weather is really bad (snow storm), they expect you to stay and work your scheduled shift -No yearly raises, you have to be promoted to get more money -At 5pm, you get to see the running of the bulls, the parking lot is a death sentence -If you are not a robot, you won't last long -Monday morning meetings to worship the guy who thinks he's the high school prom king -Quarterlies once a year -Multiple meetings that just repeat the same things over and over again, but pay attention, pop quiz at the end!
