Friendly but rocky employment

Pros

Friendly work environment. Core employees tend to stay awhile if you get there. Management is always approachable and enjoyable to discuss matters with. Average benefits, nothing to run into their arms for, unless you love book clubs. Keep you informed about company fluff.

Cons

Rocky work availability. Like to think they are growing faster than they are and cause reduced employment positions as fast as they think they need and add them. I don't advise leaving a stable job for them. They buy their own marketing hype at a higher rate than their customers. Maybe they need to work on selling their hype to paying customers instead of the constant internal flow of "greatness". Seem to enjoy redoing work to their own detriment. Maybe they need to focus on developing the systems they have to reduce that waste of time, money, and frustration; but, to be honest, the customer gets their needs met. It would be nice if a new employee would too. If you choose to accept a position there, expect to be drown in out dated procedures. They have a manual for everything and they usually reflect what they wish was happening. Again, the manuals are apparently safety blankets for management, not really meant to guide you. As if anyone would have time to keep up with their changability. You're on your own when you are buried in their broken systems and staffing. Be prepared to not be doing what they hired you for, your position will be job du jour based on how often they feel like redefining and restructuring. Usually with short-lived or perceived (we did something) benefit.

Pros

Graphcom offers one restroom for like 75 employees. Also, 1 x per month you get cake, Yayyyy!

Cons

If you want to be transported back and into the 1950's this place is for you. HR is a joke. Several men from upper management like to hug and massage young ladies at their desks, HR ignores this. Everywhere else I've ever been says this is "grooming" and "sexual harassment". Here it's overlooked. Other white male managers will offer their opinions on your body shape and how you look bent over, no biggie.

Thank you for the feedback. We take creating and maintaining a positive work environment very seriously, including mandatory training on many things, such as harassment. I'm sorry to learn that you did not have a positive experience with our firm.
