Great communication from corporate to local stations. Rewarding, unique field.
Cons
Journalism is a tough industry to be in in regards to mental health, hours and work load. It takes a true passion to be in this field, and hardcore newsies will love it.
Local staff was awesome. There was flexibility in scheduling, people were always willing to help. There was extensive learning available.
Cons
Management does not communicate properly on anything. Talk to your employees about apparent issues before you make rash decisions. When said rash decisions are made, they do not give an answer as to what you did wrong. Training was overwhelming.
