      Pros

      the folks out in the field are good people and mean well. It the corporate folks you have to watch out for.

      Cons

      Having worked with her group in HR, I can say from personal experience she's all about politics and does not like to listen to anyone opinion other than her own. By far the worst work experience I dealt with in my career.

      Pros

      Very good retirement, profit sharing and stock purchase program. The people that you work with are generally great team members and nice to work with. Graybar offers good products and services to customers.

      Cons

      Graybar is very much like high school, the popular people get promotions and pay raises over better qualified team members all too frequently. Too many people do their job and nothing more. The sales force has short tenure because they constantly have to fight the Graybar system to service their customer's. Morale is low becuase the staff feel overworked and under valued.

      Pros

      Excellent total compensation package. Their retirement is second to none that I've ever worked for. A large company with a lot of good people in the field that have been with the company for many years.

      Cons

      The structure of the company is such that they have a very disjointed approach to the marketplace, especially where national accounts and the federal government are concerned. Thirteen districts, each with their own way of doing things and they don't take guidance from corporate. Within each district, there are between 10 and 20 branches that each has it's own reporting structure and P&L.
