Pros

Graybar Electric is celebrating 150 years in business (90 years as employee owned). A company that provides a great culture for career growth opportunities. Whether sales, management, administration or financial, Graybar has an opportunity for you. All that is needed is the willingness to learn, a desire to be challenged and an expectation to succeed. Competitive salaries, Profit Sharing, Stock Options and Healthcare are just a few of the benefits offered. Well respected company name.

Cons

You must become comfortable with being uncomfortable. The distribution business is undergoing a dramatic change.

Pros

Good hours and flexible depending on team. Pay was good and benefits (PTO, health insurance, and even work life) were more than acceptable. If you're in the collections department, your ability to talk to people should be enhanced as you're talking to customers over phone.

Cons

Deadlines can be hectic and also when trying to collect money from various businesses it could be tiresome. May take you months to collect a simple payment from some people. This only applies to collections department.
