Pros

Excellent systems of work, great people and a healthy level of emotional intelligence across APAC - this was pre-acquisition by Graymont . CEO great at selling the Graymont vision

Cons

Watering down of robust systems of work as business changed to a One Graymont model, Exec management missed the opportunity to improve systems particularly in Safety, CEO not so inspiring when talking about safety. Some rigid thinking within Exec team, better for your Graymont career not to challenge this thinking

Pros

I have been with the company for less than a year but so far so very good! The work is challenging yet flexible, and the people are very supportive. I confirm what other reviewers say: good benefits at Graymont! There is a great team spirit and it feels wonderful to be surrounded by and have access to competent people. The company is committed to improving its environmental footprint so this is clearly a plus for people that care about sustainability in their job/career.

Cons

The company is relatively hierarchically "flat" so there may be limited upward opportunity compared to a larger corporation. Too early to tell. Yet, it is very refreshing to be part of a lean, no non-sense, well-oiled organization. It has been tough to join a new company during COVID and not being able to experience face-to-face interactions to further build working relationships. But my guess is that it would have been even tougher in a company that is not truly engaging in a collaborative culture like Graymont is.
