      Pros

      Good tips, guaranteed clientele, busy salon

      Cons

      Working weekends, was asked to work on my vacation that was approved for months. All are paid the same even if they are experienced or fresh out of school. High turnover of hairdressers leaving you short handed. The clip notes sometimes don't benefit you if they aren't updated.

      Pros

      It stays busy so you will have the opportunity to earn a little bit of commission by cutting hair and selling products, and you earn tips. After one year, you can get insurance if you are full time. The company does provide continuing education.

      Cons

      Hourly wage is low and it gets a little boring doing men's haircuts over and over. The majority of the customers are men.
