Pros

The only pro is weekly pay

Cons

Overworked, undervalued, can’t keep staff, no incentive to be productive because you have to work yourself to the bone and then they just raise requirements for any extra pay, never get time off.

Claim tons of tips and amazing benefits

Cons

Racist and did not publicly stand with BLM seriously no training with BIPOC hair is done. Not style, cut, color, curl pattern, texture most don’t carry highly textured hair products. They also go out of their way to not hire BIPOC Terrible customer interactions since COVID 19 No support from upper management Lost all benefits because they “can’t afford” to pay the stylists because they have to buy PPE now

Pros

Definitely a good staff makes it easier, easy to find a schedule that works with you

Cons

Low base pay, credit card tips are counted as pay so my base pay might be $x p/h, but they'll insist that my tips really pull me up to $xx-$xx per hour. When the complaint of my education and experience not being considered comes into play, the argument and insult of the possibility of being paid a waitress base wage instead, it's frustrating.
