      Busy location but miserable environment

      Pros

      Very busy, lots of opportunity to take cuts, many of the customers are friendly and pleasant. Not too hard to make productivity bonus. Frequent contests

      Cons

      Low tips, Management fraternizes with favorite employees outside work. Clickish behavior amongst many stylists. Most smoke and get paid to do it leaving only one stylist on the floor to do everything. Miscommunication on pay from management regarding full time status vs restricted. Longggg hours. Many customers tip under 5$ , lots of skin fades and beard trims. Too many discounts. Lots of unnecessary mandatory “training” classes This location is 8-8, no work life balance time requests off are forgotten leaving the stylist to feel responsible, need to cover shift if you get sick

      The Franchisees are absolutely amazing. They call to check on you, you can really advance your technical skills here.

      Pros

      The clientele can be nice, and the coworkers we currently have are great.

      Cons

      Enough is never enough for upper management. No matter how much you do, you meet a goal and they move the goal post. Even reducing bonuses even though you've met corporate standards. Lots of long, hard hours with little to no appreciation. The compensation is sad for the amount of work involved. I feel like my company has turned on me after years of loyal service.
