We know our students, parents and community make our academies incredibly unique and special. We know there is always room for improvement. We are open to constructive critiques and recommendations. We value the unique and individual contributions of our teachers and staff. It is imperative to meet our standards while considering new teaching techniques. As a network committed to human flourishing, we address individual concerns at each of the schools in a way that is fair and equitable to our students, teachers, and staff. We desire a positive and safe working environment for all our children to learn, grow, and mature with truth, beauty and goodness as the pillars of their formation. We acknowledge that there are always areas of improvement for Great Hearts, including retention and recruitment of experienced and highly competent administrators. As with any school leadership role, the leadership competencies at Great Hearts are broad in scope, and in addition, we value leaders who bring the classical liberal arts vision to bear on the culture and community. That broad scope is challenging for any one person to balance, but the network invests fully in leadership development and also utilizes faculty and family surveys to help leaders develop a greater awareness for the areas of growth.
