Pros

It's truly an enjoyable place to work. Being a privately held organization allows GreatAmerica to invest in it's people and it's community, and the commitment to doing so shows. The team-based atmosphere is enjoyable and collaborative, and the continued flexibility of a hybrid work environment improves the work-life balance.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow and require a number of people/departments to be involved. There's an emphasis on pushing more decision-making down the ladder, but we aren't there yet and it can be frustrating to not be able to make decisions quickly or on your own.

Cons

-Support depends on what unit you're in, can vary -Can be a bit cliquey at times. Try to ignore it -WFH isn't super flexible depending on your leader
