I cannot complain , Grede has given me every opportunity to advance and improve my position because I show up everyday and give them 110%.

Cons

The starting pay should be more . Employees should get paid for what they know . They had a plant manager who told them that the more you learn the more you will make but the department heads couldn't agree on how to go about it so the Teir System went away when Shane Ingram left. ( I was lucky enough to get the money for my training at the time] Guys don't want to take on more responsibility without more pay , simple as that.

The best thing about working at Grede is the people. It is like a family. Pay is good, benefits are good with added perks, some easy jobs and some jobs can be challenging but are good for the right person.

Cons

Medical insurance could be better but is better than other employers in the area.
