Pros

the junior people are decent, especially most of the newly hired ones but the senior team they have brought from the US is extremely arrogant and they can't back it up

Cons

the senior management is very backstabbing albeit they say they are a'family' organization

Pros

Working on site can be fun as long as those in the corporate office stay away. They also provide good benefits to employees.

Cons

The senior management is very disconnected with what is going on on-site and focuses on negative rather that positive reinforcement.

Pros

Working in such a spectacularly mismanaged environment really clarified what a professional workplace should look like. In a strange way, I’m grateful — it was an excellent lesson in what to avoid going forward.

Cons

For anyone considering this job: prepare for a fascinating ecosystem where favouritism thrives, accountability does not and complaints are treated as background noise. You’ll spend your days correcting financial work done by people who aren’t trained to do it and naturally, you’ll be held responsible for the fallout. Management’s financial expertise is… theoretical at best, but they excel at telling their bosses how everything is ‘improving’. The hierarchical setup between the admin staff and their managers is a real treat — painfully inefficient, completely illogical, and of course, entirely your problem to deal with There was a very clear pattern where people from the same ethnic background consistently protected each other, covered mistakes, and acted defensively toward anyone outside their group. It created an environment where accountability wasn’t applied equally, and anyone not part of that group was left to deal with the consequences.
