Don't expect anything.

Pros

You usually get a consistent schedule every week and the work environment is relaxed so long as you get your work finished when you're expected to. Definitely do not expect to be micromanaged, they will give you a giant book of policies and rules and you're basically on your own after a day of training.

Cons

The pay rates for the same position will differ from person to person for the same position, and the managers tend to play favorites. If you report a problem within the staff nothing will get done, or atleast not very quickly at all. You shouldn't expect a lot of help if you have a problem or don't know how to do something. The environment is definitely sink or swim. The customers are hard to deal with most of the time.

Pros

As a manager you can sometimes work a M-F 9 to 5 schedule. $50 bonus for perfect attendance every 3 months.

Cons

No benefits. Low wages.Clerks $8.25/hr managers $10/hr No sick time. Management drastically cuts hours of most employees at the end of the month. Individually franchised so there is no structure for internal promotion to the corporate side. Rapid expansion of new stores are cannibalizing it's own sales.

Pros

Office is not bad, free snacks and food

Cons

Toxic IT/BT Leadership: * Leadership is blame-focused and toxic. Lack of accountability for mistakes; blame is shifted to others. * Frequent bullying and yelling by leadership - make your life a living hell. * Management appears to care but fails to take action due to fear of damaging their reputation, very fake. Offshore Technical Resources: * Majority of technical staff is offshore, often unavailable during production incidents. Executive Leadership and Company Direction: * CEO decisions lack consistency: switching between a traditional grocery model and a treasure-hunt experience. * A large number of new executives who lack deep business knowledge. Pay and Career Advancement: * Compensation is significantly below the Bay Area standard. * No opportunities for career growth, even with exceptional performance.
