Pros

It is great to work for people who care about their staff. It is also a wonderful environment to thrive in creatively. Grocery Outlet is ever changing and therefore requires creativity to adapt to these changes, and inevitably, to succeed. Free thinking and new ideas are not commonly accepted in a retail business at a store level. So, it is a refreshing change of pace from the mainstream.

Cons

When there are a lot of employees who already know one another prior to being hired, it can encourage excess drama. Be it on a monetary scale or by position, there is a cap as to how high an employee can climb within one store.

I actually had a good time working there, hard work and decent incentives. Low salary, but good that they provide basic benefits.

Cons

Trashy environment, beat around the bush mentality.
