I work in accounting in UK. I have been able to develop a career with a company that cares. My manager is very supportive and really wants to give your people a chance.

Cons

We have to work long hours at month end. Though I enjoy it as we are a real team and everyone pulls together.

One good thing is because it is auto industry, things were never same. Every day something new was happening, so days were passing very fast.

Cons

Unfortunately, very little work life balance at least in the department I worked for, but there are many other departments where things were different.
