Pros

I wish I could say there was any benefit to working here. However, you will be paid and treated better at almost any other company.

Cons

Most toxic work environment I've ever been at. Overworked, not paid anywhere NEAR what the industry should pay for game artists, no overtime pay, no training for new hires, set up for failure. The upper crust is constantly bullying the game devs into pumping out better games with faster turn arounds. Friends there who have been working for several years say that they used to be a great company before they got more than 200 workers, then suddenly human life became cheap to them. Leads only got their positions by being grandfathered into them, and have egos the size of the moon. It was a joke after the Wilmington group moved out of Greenville HQ that they took all the toxic people with them. Don't fall for their whole "we're family" shtick either, that's to erode work-life separation so you can do overtime for them and not get compensated.

Pros

A lot of the lower staff there are amazing people. Garret the owner is a good dude he is not to blame he has no control.

Cons

MVV is bull none of the people that are higher up there believe in it it’s all just to make there works get brainwashed. They have people managing and leads that don’t know a damn thing about the products for the most part. The supervisor in Wis was fixing all of the lead positions with either family or friend that were not skilled at the work. There is no true and honest growth there. If your not ready to work under people that don’t know anything and will just use you for your skills and still under cut you in every way get work somewhere else. Also pay is nothing compared to the amount of stuff they expect of you meanwhile they know nothing. They tell you that traveling is a requirement after the fact of you not having that on a job requirement. Not to mention working 90 plus hours a week well your gone…..that’s against the law just a little bit. BE AWARE find something better.

Pros

There are good people that work at this company who deserve to be treated better.

Cons

My experience at this company has unfortunately been a constant disappointment. Leadership is constantly creating fires and not caring who gets burned. They love to talk about how great their culture is, but in reality it's all just lip service. You'll hear the words "we're a family," but that's just their excuse to get away with treating you poorly. Employees are constantly being overworked, underpaid, and undervalued; and then leadership has the gall to shame/guilt you for not doing enough. Stay far away from this company.
