Management is a joke. They preach that it's all about "family" and helping everyone, but they will turn their back on you in a second if they decide they don't like you or feel that you are threatening their own job. This place is full of hypocrites in all positions. Favoritism runs rampant and if you're not in the "cool kids crowd", you'll get fired for doing something that those in upper management do on a daily basis without thinking twice. They instruct customer service to lie to people over the phone about their orders. They tell current employees that they're not permitted to speak to former employees (true story, as absurd as it sounds)... likely because they know that former employees will tell them how things really are.

Just about everything. I've had two different bosses promise me a raise and I never got it. The company promised, and has promised for the last six months, to bump everyone up to $15/hr. So far, it's just a carrot they hang in front of everyone. It's a revolving door here, people are constantly getting fired or are quitting on a weekly basis - the retention rate is terrible. The leadership is 'hurry up, let's go! Do as I say or else!' Theft, sexual harassment and just about everything else is rampant in shipping.
