Pros
Above average pay for industry (minimally)
Cons
Core leaders aren't held accountable for mistakes and consistently fail up Blame game is a constant issue; and the voices of true source of missed launches/product failures are hidden from/ignored by top management There are plenty of pages of retrospectives but none of them have materialized into fixing the problems Managers use HR as a crux to gaslight and micromanage employees Burnout is treated as a lack of potential It is impossible to use PTO as there are always ongoing fires; leadership expects folks to always be available Company is too large to run as a startup/small company Company is incapable of properly calculating the cost of business ventures and teams get stuck with impossible deadlines that neither did they plan for nor did they get budget to solve Everything is of highest priority which means nothing is Company has incurred too much technical debt Advice from senior management and executive leaders to address these problems is to "write them down and discard the paper it was written on" Last minute "effective immediately" policy decisions No work life balance Last minute decisions that cause rework are constant Miscommunication exists in all facets of the company; and this makes no sense as most leaders spend ~6-8+ hours per day in meetings Leaders give puerile responses when pressed on important issues
