Pros

Flight is hard, especially in remote areas, where the nearest decent hospital is 2-5 hours away. It’s literally the Wild West. Lots of skills and autonomy.

Cons

Lot of corp red tape. Rules that make since for a 15-30 min flight, but not for a 2-3h transport. Training is getting better, but really one has to get it on their own. No spoon feeding here!

Terrible schedule

Pros

Great coworkers, decent pay. Good immediate supervisor.

Cons

Schedule is brutal, especially for busy bases. Time out and fatigue policy is laughable. Very little PTO, upper management only cares about $$. Very high turn over, especially at busy bases that are overworked and fatigued constantly.
