Pros

Good benefits Solid leadership overall Opportunity for advancement if you network and work hard. Decent pay for this area. Cafeteria Pleasant working environment with nice people.

Cons

Lots of long hours - although that's just the way of the world now. Used to be a 40-hour week gig, sometimes it's twice that now.

Pros

Great Products, technology, and planning tools. LBS is unmatched in the industry really. Planning philosophy is tough to argue against. Excellent learning opportunities. Unlimited earning potential.

Cons

Poverty for the first 4-5 years. If you don't sell, then you don't eat. Don't get talked into the draw being a salary, it's 100% commission, the whole time. Starting a business from the ground up. Complete reliance on others (those whom you sell to) for compensation.
