Pros

If you're eligible for a bonus you always get more than target.

Cons

Total lack of respect for employees. Senior Management spouts values they don't live. On a slow path to further irrelevance.

Poor management

Pros

Nice building, free coffee and good work at home options

Cons

Management does everything to prevent raises. Favoritism runs rampant and is the only way to get promoted; if you don't kiss up you won't get anywhere. Human resources does a horrible job and doesn't have info about new hires when they arrive on the first day. If you file a complaint with HR they tell you to go to your manager, even if that's who your complaint is against. The company makes sure the public perception is that Guardian is generous by giving to charities but if it's not advertised they won't give.
