Pros

Great discount 40-50% off. You are first to see new merchandise. You learn how to keep a store organized. Become a professional folder. You learn a lot about the brand.

Cons

Competitive workplace. Management is horrible. You get treated poorly by upper staff. Don't get credit for hard work. Employees often steal your customers. Very little hours. Your schedule will not be consistent. Don't try to make friends with everyone in the workplace because they will end up stabbing you in the back during your shift. Trust no one.

Pros

If you are fresh out of school looking to start your career this is a great spring board, but don't stay too long. Great benefits, annual holiday party, onsite cafe. My time here was great, but I lived in fear for my job. It wasn't until after I left I realized that not all companies are like Guess. Be very cautious going in.

Cons

Beware of the bi-yearly layoffs! No raises or bonuses this past year. The organization is very parallel. Not much opportunity for job growth. Don't be late by a minute or you will risk being fired by the founder. He leads through fear.

Pros

Not much to like about guess...coworkers are nice, we all got along pretty well. Some managers are ok.

Cons

discount sucks, managers promote competition between co-workers...this makes for a shady work environment because people end up stealing sales from eachother. Some managers even steal employee sales and force employees to help them generate their own sales. There is no commission...employees are just punished for not making individual goals.
