Pros

Pay and bonus are higher than at other firms.

Cons

Siloed and nonexistent company culture. Everything about the company feels outdated and antiquated. People are not encouraged to connect with each other. Little to no flexibility with hybrid work, people come to the office sick to comply with RTO expectations because management doesn't trust them to WFH more than one day per week. You'll have to come to the office during Christmas and New Years' weeks even though it will be a ghost town. PTO and other company policies are poor.

Pros

Easy company to work for. No micro managing. Relaxed environment.

Cons

Approval process has a thousand layers to get to final approval. Questioning dysfunctional processes is not well received. There is a consistent air of distrust from every level of authority. Hard work and loyalty are not fairly nor adequately compensated. Annual salary increase is below inflation and overall cost of living across the board...groceries, rent increases, gas, property taxes, transportation, general consumer goods including basic essentials, etc. Management is unapologetically cheap. If employees ask for a raise, the response is... maybe this isn't the right fit for you. Guggenheim is not a place to build a long term career. If you currently work there, use it to build skills, experience and networking. Take those assets and go to a firm that respects your value.
