Pros

Great for a first compliance job; really good for learning a wide-range of AML knowledge and skills; somewhat decent management; nice and helpful colleagues.

Cons

For those not getting not joining for a first job/compliance job, or those who turn competent/skilled in their work, the salary is low without much real long-term staying incentive.

Great starter job

Pros

The people are nice and offer as much help as possible. Weekly team meetings to highlight investigators accomplishments. Early release on Friday only if you exceed quota.

Cons

You will work well over 40 hours a week with no additional compensation. Unattainable quota to achieve within the standard 8 hr work week. Guidance changes every other week so it’s difficult to follow what is required from you. The work is redundant and repetitive. Low compensation compared to other AML investigator jobs. Please keep in mind that you will be overworked and management won’t blink an eye about you working extra hours. No real room for career growth unless you jump around to other projects after you’ve been on your current project for 14 months.
