Pros

You'll be working with friendly, brilliant people.

Cons

Expectation is to work 50+hours a week for the shot at receiving raises/promotions. In reality, you'll only advance if a contractual opportunity presents itself.

Contract role

Pros

The work is remote, and most of the time you are self-managed and the work is easy. The job itself is always changing and the coworkers are nice.

Cons

The management is awful, they track how much time you spend doing work on the computer and generally treat their specialists very poorly and patronize them. If you're managing people from a remote setting you need to be patient and understanding that people have lives, and if they respond a minute late to the manager it should be fine. This is also a contract position which means no benefits, and they can basically let you go at any time for any reason.
