Pros

Leaving this place becomes the only real positive outcome.

Cons

This is the worst company ever. Management blames people for things that were out of their control and nitpicks even when the work followed their own instructions. The treatment got so ridiculous, they were trying to push me out instead of supporting anyone. Reaching out for help did nothing because HR shut the door instantly and it seemed like leadership was tied together in the same messy behavior. The isolation, constant pressure and lack of fairness made the whole experience unbearable. I left because staying any longer would have destroyed me even more. Avoid this place at all costs.

Pros

I am on a great project with a team that cares about me.

Cons

Low morale: Rounds of layoffs for anyone who didn’t hit their utilization target. Talk of low-to-zero bonuses this year with the DOGE train wreck and the recent govt shut down. CEO Scott McIntyre actually praised DOGE in an all-hands call before laying off benched employees. No firm identity: This firm is a Frankenstein of acquisitions of smaller companies and has no identity or culture. I really do not care about this company in any way and rarely speak with anyone outside of my project. It is bizarre. Poor coaching: I had to fight so hard to get a competent Pathfinder (mentor) who bothered to care about my career development and performance ratings. I missed a promotion to senior and had to wait an entire year before I could find the right mentor to sell my case. I coached myself for 3.5 years. Had I not done so I would’ve slipped through the cracks because there was no one looking out for me. There’s self-advocacy and then there’s managing upward to make sure you get a fair performance review, let alone a promotion.

Pros

There are no pros other than a paycheck.

Cons

Toxic work culture, no one ever left high school. Management will gaslight you and retaliate against you. It’s expected to work overtime. If you take time off, you must make up productivity for that time off. They are not a people first company. The turn around is high. They do not invest into you to learn new skills. Everything is politics. Know your rights they will take advantage of you if they can.
