The analyst position was nothing like it was sold to me. Instead of meaningful analysis, I was buried under repetitive spreadsheets, endless slide decks, and pointless tasks designed to impress clients with volume rather than insight. Every project was micromanaged to death, leaving no room for creativity or real problem-solving.
