Pros

Some of my coworkers were nice. I left after a couple of months.

Cons

The industry as a whole is shady. Shady clients and minimal vetting both with advisors and clients' requests. Strange morals in this company. The industry is based on essentially brokering other people's expertise while trying to make a commission. No "market research" going on at all. Insider knowledge seems welcome. Titles are superficial, and technology is out of date.

Pros

The London team is upbeat, motivated and friendly. The culture is very supportive and it is a great place to learn, especially as a first job. The managers are always eager to help nurture younger associates, and the associates are a fun, energetic group of individuals to work with. The company supports quick upward mobility - if you are there for 1 year you are likely to be promoted to the next position (if earned).

Cons

The day to day activities related to work can be monotonous at times, but the gratification of hitting targets is motivating. The drive to hit targets can sometimes encourage working late - but there is no expectation to do so.

Pros

-work remote most days -people at the office are nice -work is very simple, someone in 10th grade could easily do it -Office is diverse and there is some food -flexible daily lunch hour

Cons

-extremely repetitive- you are essentially selling guidepoint to strangers trying to get them on a call, with hundreds of people its just that over and over -Pay is pretty set- small bonuses + sign on bonus is heavily taxed (know that if you end before a year you have to pay it back in full- not taxed version) -Everything is based on numbers- if you do not meet those numbers then you are fired -high turnover -work is never over, people sometimes work weekend (and praised for it) and even if projects are finished you are expected to still sit around until 5:15 roles around -let some people work remote and others not
