Pros

Love the people I work with, fast paced environment but good if you want to stay busy and want opportunities to move up in a company. Really great culture and nice transition job out of college.

Pros

- Hard work is rewarded. If you do your job and do it well, you will be recognized for it, to an extent. If you can't work hard, this is absolutely not the place for you. You will learn to grind and be persistent. - Good group of younger employees, fun place to start working in NYC, some good perks like beer on Friday and fun company parties. - Supposedly moving to a new office soon, which will be a good change. - With international growth and new offices across US, there is some opportunity to work abroad or in other cities, if you do well. - Good exposure to trends in the investment world.

Cons

- Career trajectory can be limited. Sometimes people seem to get stuck in PM role for a while. That being said, they have made improvements to this. - Compensation could be higher. They do a good job of incentivizing you with performance based compensation but I did feel like I had to make noise in order to get a raise. Sometimes I feel like the pie wasn't big enough for everyone to get what they wanted so if you were quiet/content, you wouldn't get anything more than what you already had. - Entry level role is repetitive and can be boring. It can also be high-pressure since clients are very demanding and the industry is constantly becoming more and more competitive.
