Pros

Loved the team I built and those worked with

Cons

Regional leadership was grossly underdeveloped and immature. Not a real montessori program as teachers were in training while leading classrooms. Low pay and benefits. High turnover.

Pros

The kids are the only pro of the job. If you want to work with kids find another place to work. This place is not worth the stress of being stretched thin with a lack of support from management.

Cons

The head of the school doesn't know how to care for young kids and is in over her head at this school. There is a lack of money even though it is a Montessori school so teachers are getting paid well below the livable wage and calling out of work all the time. Starting pay is $16 an hour for assistant guides and 40k a year for lead guides. Being one of the only teachers that doesn't call out of work every week I have often ended up with a classroom full of kids on my own and the lack of staffing concerns me for the safety of the kids but management won't be honest with parents about their incompetencies.
