      Pros

      Good benefits, nice coworkers, family alike working environment, generous budget. Great family day, offsite event, Halloween party, retirement party, year-end event; active employee community.

      Cons

      Fired 2K+ people last year. And it's a narrow world of white/male only for C level.

      Great aircraft, not an easy place to work

      Pros

      Great aircraft, lots of work, plenty of action, high level of individual responsibility, a place to thrive if you have the right attitude and live to work!

      Cons

      Expectation level and ambition of this company is off the clock. High levels of overtime, sometimes mandatory. The company runs engineering extremely lean, no time to breathe. Great if you love total immersion, difficult if you like to have a full life outside of the company. Work / Family balance can certainly be an issue. Local doctors joke about how much Stress medications are prescribed to Gulfstream employees!

      Work is challenging and dynamic. Support education

      Cons

      Slow in almost everything. Doesn't adapt well to change. So, if you have new ideas or ways for doing things, it is hard to convince old/long timers to change - and there are A LOT of old/long timers! As a result, a lot of good people leave for better opportunities. Company has a very hard time hiring talent probably because of where it is located.
