Great pay and benefits. Great product

Cons

No work life balance, Mandatory OT in some cases, over worked and schedule driven. No training, if you don't know it coming in you are on your own. They tout that you have career opportunities and you do, but only if you are a part of the "Good Ole Boy" network. If you complain they will try to find a way to get rid of you. HR is there for the Management team not for the employees so going to them with your complaints is a waist of time.

Gulfstream is an excellent employer providing fair salary and excellent benefits to include dental, medical and vision. Gulfstream reaches out to the community by hosing volunteer days where areas in need of assistance get it from enthusiastic employees. Gulfstream provides excellent working environments and all types of employee services. There is even a doctor on site once per week.

Cons

There is no company day care. The cafeteria food is lame and costs too much. There is not adequate parking within a reasonable distance from the buildings.

Pros

Good benefits, competitive salary for the positions worked. Family atmosphere, excellent product line - nice to work at the "best in the business" company.

Cons

I personally got trapped in a position that made me "too important" to allow my desired career path. This happened to an entire team involved in a long term loan project, we came from different business groups and ended up being assigned for 5+ years to a single project. Over the life of that project we retained our job titles and pay grades, which varied widely - led to some resentment.
