A stable grind

Pros

Lots of overtime, relatively simple work. Good benefits. If you can live on autopilot, this is the perfect job.

Cons

Management mostly exerts pressure rather than make strategic improvements. Work environment is often very crowded. If you are bothered by people being in your personal space, this is not for you. Career advancement is on an aviation-standard rigid timeline. Doing extra work and standing out will rarely work in your favor.

Pros

Pay is pretty competitive, 401k matching, 16 days off plus holidays. Fairly low stress. 4 day work week.

Cons

Paternity leave is only 2 weeks, PTO doesn’t rollover, if you are hired and find another position at Gulfstream you’re more suited for you have to wait a full year before you can apply for other positions.
