Good benefits but stuck in an Old Boys mentality

Pros

The benefits are top tier and working four tens means every weekend is a long weekend

Cons

The culture is classic Old Boys Club. Brown nosing will get you farther than competence ever will. On paper there's unlimited sick leave but if you use it to care for your frequently sick child, they'll put you on a list and ask why your wife doesn't just stay home with the kids. A perfect environment for backstabbers who don't have the technical expertise to make it on merit and haven't socially evolved since the 1950's. Hope you like golf because you're going to have to play a lot of it if you ever want a promotion
