Pros

The pay is still decent but still isn't keeping up with inflation Cost of living is still relatively low Good co-op/intern program

Cons

Benefits used to be better. Too much micromanagement, especially from leadership team/corporate level. Decisions that should be made (and used to be made!) by first or second line management now have to go to a VP. Upper management treats employees like children; they give us flowery language and lie to our faces then turn around and do things like hold RIFs and take away remote work. And then they have the gall to ask how we feel about it... Short-term thinking is pervasive Too many sudden knee-jerk reactions by upper management--layoffs, ending remote/hybrid work, etc. Internal politics/"good old boy" network alive and well Management styles trend too much towards "beatings will continue until morale improves" and collective punishment for the sins of a few

Pros

Great benefits, met some really great people

Cons

The SAP leadership team is not really "leading". Key individuals at the top have no respect or consideration for people on the team. People who are good at their jobs just continue to get dumped on and overworked. Communication is lacking, often coming out as belligerence or snarkiness. In-fighting between teams supported by leadership. Strong/smart women seen as a threat by male dominated organization - trust me, you won’t get promoted here and they'll never give a clear explanation of why! Organization is behind on technology - not on S/4 with no project even scheduled yet. People are leaving as quickly as they can. If you're serious about your SAP career and want to be treated with respect, I would only consider Gulfstream as an option after they have a complete overhaul of their SAP leadership team.

Pros

Good brand name Warm location in a cozy beach town

Cons

They lay off people by deactivating their badges with no notice. One fine morning people come to work and boom! Their badges dont work anymore. They return home and then get calls from their manager that they're laid off. Their belongings inside the office are then couriered to them. You get promoted only if you are your boss' favorite sycophant. You have to struggle to get the opportunity to work on anything important. Mostly you are stuck with a spreadsheet, sorting data and creating reports for your supervisor who can then present the data in a meeting where only sycophants are invited.
