Pros

Gulf stream offers excellent benefits and compensation packages.

Cons

Career advancement is difficult for women. If you are not performing sexual favors or have dirt on a superior the chances of promotion are slim to none. Also, hiring is bias and it is well known that managers hire family and friends over the most qualified candidates.

Pros

It's pretty cool to be working on what's considered the best private or corporate aircraft. The general work force of people there are some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. The company really tries to do right by its people when hard times hit like the current economy.

Cons

The middle and upper management of the company have no concept of realistic timing when it comes to program schedules. Even though the current program timing was incorrect to begin with because of a mess up by management, its still being forced on the workers to get it done or else their job is in jeopardy. The other thing that is very annoying is that nothing's ever good enough when it comes to your job performance. You can work your butt off to get something done on or before schedule but that's not good enough because the programs still behind in there eyes.

Pros

Lots of opportunity for working on a wide variety of projects. Work on leading-edge business jet technology. Most engineers are highly motivated and competent. Good compensation and benefits.

Cons

Overloaded with projects with unrealistic deadlines. Manifested in high stress levels, health problems, broken marriages. Overly schedule- and cost-driven. Competitive, rather than service-oriented, atmosphere. Rigid working hours.
