Hi, thank you for reviewing us at Gymshark. We appreciate your honest feedback, especially as we understand this to be the first step in growth and improvement. Firstly, we would like to let you know how pleased we are to see some high scores in your review! We are particularly glad to see you felt a great Gymshark culture during your time working here, as this is something that we hold very close to our hearts. We believe we have started off 2023 on the right foot, especially as we have rolled out our new Performance Culture Roadshow. This aims to provide our employees with the skills and tools they need to progress both personally and professionally, and we are already starting to see the benefit this is having for both our employees and Gymshark! We would love to use your feedback to make Gymshark an even better place to work, and, if you believe we could learn even more from your experience, please reach out to one of our representatives at glassdoorresponses@gymshark.com! We're looking forward to hearing from your soon. Thank you again!

Pros

Important to note that I left the business BEFORE first redundancies were announced by my own decision beginning of 2022. I can not give any insights into current Gymshark culture. OFFICE Simply beautiful and functional, I was employed when the first HQ opened it’s doors in 2018 (one of the first 150) and still can’t get over that hype we all felt when we went through those doors. REFUEL I’ve had some of the best foods here and selection was always great. DIVERSITY As a person of colour, I was very proud to be working in a very diverse team with a POC leader. Even though this was the case for my team, it wasn’t so much in other departments. HR HR was always very supportive, as well as my team lead. It never felt like you are talking to a business but an empathetic person. I always felt supported. WFH I have never had to go back into the offices as I left early 2022, but I enjoyed both working full time in the office before Covid as well as WFH. WFH was actually very well organised, considering it was new to everyone. VIBE We all had the same goal - to make everyone love Gymshark as much as we do, no matter what your background, circumstances etc. - so we were all buzzing. Especially as we could see the company giving back to its employees with every milestone hit. STAFF DISCOUNT Staff discount was great, as well as the AMAZING sample sales. BENEFITS Great maternity/paternity package, no excess private healthcare, discounted lunch, newest tech equipment, birthdays off, great pension scheme, gym, lots of training sessions, company parties. PEOPLE Made friends for life. This is solely based on my experience, I can not speak for all thousand employees, nor for anything after early 2022.

Cons

PAY The pay was below industry standard for early employees, but new hires got better packages (obvs) so there were big differences within teams. PROMOTIONS Difficult in some teams, very easy in other, less popular departments. GENDER Lacking empowering, female leaders.

Hi, thank you for sharing your review with us! Firstly, it's wonderful to see so many 'pros' in your review and we're delighted to hear about how much you loved your experience working at Gymshark. The Gymshark culture is and always will be something we hold very close to our hearts, which is why it makes us smile thinking about all the amazing memories you mentioned in your review. We're excited heading into the future knowing we have many more memories to make! We believe we have made some great steps forward this year, including introducing our Performance Culture Roadshow. This has allowed us to support our employees with their own personal and professional growth, something we believe is having a great impact for Gymshark and our employees. We are also confident that our pay and perks are competitive. We use recognised sources of market data when hiring new people and rewarding current employees to create total reward packages that are fair. It's important to us to make an effort to invite all of our employees to tell us their views about our pay and benefits annually so that we can ensure that this is employee driven and we offer what they value most. That being said, we know we aren't perfect, and we will always jump at the chance to learn from feedback. We'd love to take the opportunity to discuss the points you have raised in further detail, so if you are willing, please reach out to a member of our team at glassdoorresponses@gymshark.com. We hope to hear from you soon, thank you!
