      Pros

      Heads of department and below are good people, but exist in an organisation which cannot communicate with itself and is grossly misled. If only Steve Hewitt hadn't of left us - things were so positive then. There's an unhealthy sense of arrogance and entitlement amongst the directors and chiefs which makes us worry about the future of the business. Everyone is worried about ibo security because there have been repeated restructures sometimes with no warning. Could be a great place to work if it was led better.

      Poor leadership Substandard pay which they claim is higher by including benefits with made up values

      Growing too fast, wouldn't advise for job security for the near future

      Pros

      Gift cards at anniversaries, 50% clothing, free/subsidised lunch and sick pay. The team I was part of was great, including direct management, and felt a sense of community before the restructure. Great offices and working environment when looking at day to day. Great if you live locally or want to relocate as the office provides everything you'd need. CEO seems genuine and can tell he's doing the best he can with how fast the business is growing.

      Cons

      The senior leadership team are inexperienced and the majority that were kept in the restructure are pal-y with the CEO. There was poor alignment between teams which meant all projects/campaigns were last minute. If you can't handle fast-paced I'd advise against working here. The restructure and removal of jobs on mass last year was communicated poorly, which meant people in certain teams could see which roles were being removed before the actual person in that role knew themselves. The People team do pay reviews BEFORE you provide evidence of your years worth of work and reasons for promotion etc. meaning they don't let you prove your worth before they review your salary and you have to rely on upper management where (in some cases) they rarely check in and review you.

      Competitive employee discount, gift cards during anniversaries at the company

      1. Ben is the most under qualified CEO I’ve come across. He hired his friends who have no experience and have become threatened by other employees that do have experience in the industry. They recently laid off the employees that did have experience in the industry, it feels like a toxic way to show dominance and prove your masculinity. 2. They hire new leaders based on the brands on their resume, not their actual success in their career. This has come to bite them multiple times. 3. Pay and bonus structure are not nearly competitive enough with the industry Overall, everyone is more concerned about making it seem like Gymshark is the perfect brand while it’s a disaster under the covers.
