      Pros

      Friendly, down-to-earth, laid back, and supportive co-workers and managers. Great opportunity to learn new things. I was given a mentor and the opportunity to take on new and rewarding responsibilities. The hours were great and the pay and benefits were above average.

      Cons

      None. My only reason for leaving was that I had strong ambitions to have a leadership role in research and, although I was definitely given the opportunity to grow there, I knew I would need more relevant higher education if I wanted such a leadership role.

      Pros

      Relatively easy access to executive management. Appears to have appropriate long-term strategic vision. Collaborative work environment with ability to have day-to-day schedule flexibility (depending upon your role in the organization).

      Cons

      Very lean organization where middle management has to work extra hard -makes execution of strategy difficult. Integration of acquisitions and organization changes not always smooth. Poor performers sometimes are kept onboard for too long.
