Pros

Mostly a relaxed environment aside from a supervisor or two who were promoted from hourly employee that are a bit of a power trip. I think you’ll get that at 90% plus of jobs however. It’s a union job so they can’t fire you because a supervisor doesn’t like you or because they’re having a bad day. Your job is protected by the union. Their is usually OT available to those who want it & sometimes up to 80hrs a week.

Cons

Weak employees that hide behind the union. Supervisors on a power trip. Overtime becoming unavailable without notice.

Pros

As a person who recently graduated school, this is a really good company to start your career at. They have a college graduate program where they do a good job of training you. They have great healthcare options to choose from and competitive salary/bonus structure. Also provide a company car/phone which is also nice.

Cons

Nothing out of the ordinary. Old school company, complicated market. If you don't have experience in chemicals or manufacturing, then there will definitely be a learning curve.
