Pros
First, the company gives a way a free turkey every year for the holidays. Second, the pay is O.K. for a college student. Third, promotions are great only up to cashier, and other departmental representatives.
Cons
First, the company is very hard to promote into management. HEB prefers to hire more external applicants into management positions compared to internal applicants. Second, HEB needs to send some managers to leadership training classes. Numerous managers struggle to lead and interact with their workers. Third, it is extremely difficult to promote into full-time positions.
