Pros

This is a very good company that really does care about their employees (partners) and the area/community. They offer an excellent training program for those interested in moving into management. They begin with great scholarships for students & other opportunities to move up.

Cons

it's hard to break though some of the bias and favoritism in this company & there were limited number of females in management. They are little too old school in their philosophies, even for the grocery business.

There's alot of training but I always had an open mind! Very good job to have when balancing work/college/2nd job/personal life. This store was open 24 hours so could easily take a co-worker's shift when posted.

Cons

a few management people were always rude, un-encouraging, rude to customers...(probably bc its a college town many employees are college students) Treats to fire you if you were too slow on checking items - are allowed 3 times (if you get a 3rd X then your fired) - I think they did this bc there is so many of us working there. At times it was hard to even find shifts
