      Great Job for college students

      Pros

      Awesome job for college students, they always work with your availability and offer very competitive pay($9 an hour), that pays weekly. If you want more hours you can easily pick up shifts.You also get 10% off on all HEB products and a free product every other week.

      Cons

      At my store there are 110 baggers and checkers, some of the managers do not know my name, without looking at my name tag.Depending on the time of the year hours can be scarce. When the store is busy you can expect late breaks, and if its not busy you may be sent home.

      Pros

      It is a very good job if you are able to manage your time, for all of the work that is needed to be done.

      Cons

      Very difficult to get job promotions from within. Company has bulk interviews with people that already work for the company, in group format. But will have one on one interviews with outside hires. Most cases they have no experience and others are much more qualified to handle this position.
