      HEB Not Focused on the Customer anymore

      Pros

      Invests a lot of money to manage their image in their community. Visionary and leading edge in many ways.

      Cons

      Very demanding in terms of hours and commitment. Focused on profitability versus providing customer service. This appears to be a more recent development.

      Easy to move up.... for certain people

      -Good pay -Flexible hours -Good Benefits -Active/ sometimes fun environment -When you have a good manager its a pretty stress free environment

      Cons

      -People at this level of retail love to turn each other in an tear each other down. -Moving up in management depends on how much and whos but you are kissing -Women may have an unfair disadvantage when trying to move into certain positions or areas in management -Sexual harassment often times pushed under the rug

      Flexible hours and many different departments to work in.

      Cons

      Management gathers together a lot of the time. Some managers are terrible, I honestly have no clue how some of these people are in their position.
