Pros

The management and employee are reasonabky nice people.

Cons

Extremely underpaid. The salary they offer is roughly $12k lower than the lowest market average of the position in the area. They will try to tell you the company car is the reason they pay is so low. However, that average of $12k under lowest marker average was calculated with a company car as a perk included. So do not fall for that line. In the interview they will tell you the salary is temporary, and after your 90 probation period is up, they will renegotiate. They will renegotiate, but what they will offer is insulting at best. You will be expected to help in the warehouse when short staffed. Even if you are a remote employee whose territory/home is hours away. You will not be compensated at all for this. During my time here they were so short staffed that they had all sales people working two or more shifts at the warehouse weekly, for 3 months. Some people where driving 2-3 hours just to make this 8 hour shift and 2-3 hours after the shift home just to work the next morning. That totaled to an additional minimum 24 hours of work per week for remote employees. You were expected to cover your sales route as you normally would with no disruption despite the extra work. During this time this specific warehouse saw no descrease in sale revenue in fact they had their highest grossing profit of all time during this period of being extremely short staffed. All employees working to cover the short staff in the warehouse were salaried employees. So not only were they making their highest gross sales profit, they were saving a ridiculous amount of money on labor cost. Not a single employee was offered or received a single penny in compensation for the 3 months they worked at minimum 24 hours of overtime a week. Despite the locations increase in gross profits and decrease in labor cost. You are expected to be available by phone for your customers, fellow employees, and, management 24/7. They give you $50 in compensation for your phone bill a month for this. Was not worth it. As far as training goes. For this position it was awful. Was taught nothing as far as operations and general administrative procedures go. Was given a route list without any customer information like phone numbers and email address which made for pretty significant problems. I’m not even going to go into how behind they are as far as IT goes. It’s 2021 and they do not have an actual IT person. This cause problems daily for customers and employees. No one seems to think this is a serious problem but customers have told me they do business with other companies because of some of the IT short comings this company has. They’re turn over rate for this position is ridiculously high and it’s not surprising. The job itself is great. The customers are mostly kind and I enjoyed working with them. Overall I would not recommend anyone work for this company. They are decietful to their employees as far as compensation goes. They underpay all of their staff. They overwork their staff. If I were a customer I wouldn’t want to work with this company after seeing how this company goes about its day to day business operations. I do not recommend anyone work for this company under any position. The only saving grace this company is the management team and overall staff are actually friendly, and kind humans.
